Well, you get a free hour consultation plus a layout plan or styleboard to get the design process started.

Then what?

You can either say – “Thank you very much for the free bit of design!” and you skip off into the sunset.

Or we can discuss the scope of your planned project and where I might best add value. I can estimate my time, we can agree how much you’re prepared to invest in my services and I will deliver the best design solutions, tips and discounts possible within that remit.

So no big invoices or surprise bills?

Absolutely not. We take it at your pace & pocket. Everything is agreed ahead of any progress so you don’t get any unexpected bills. I will estimate how much of my time you’ll need for each stage and this can be adjusted by mutual agreem

ent along the way; for example I may say, actually I think you might need a bit more help here or I might say, look there’s no point paying for me to come along to that appointment – here’s how you should approach it and give me a buzz when you’re through to debrief.

You see, honest, thoughtful.

I reckon I could project manage it myself.

Great, give it a go and I wish you well. But get in touch if you realize you do need some help or support along the way because it’s scary making big expensive decisions and it’s useful to have a sounding board.

What do you get out of it?

Well I get to meet you, get to know you and hopefully help you. It may lead to some work for me next week, next month, next year or never but it’s all about figuring out how I add value for you and if you value my services.

I’m prepared to invest my free time initially because I think you will value my services.

Exactly! I’m not interested in getting you to sign-up to something that’s not right for you I just want to have the opportunity to get to know you and your project a bit better before we decide how to take things forward.
